Saturday WOD #4 - 1min on 1 min off

  1. We were practising the ring pull ups today at CFR and one question came up:

    are you allowed to jump off the box, or is the box simply their to help you reach the rings and to use if you need to re-set. Bascially do you have to start from a hang position each time or can you jump off the box each time

    we did it both ways are were able to double the score jumping to pull up.

  2. Jumping pull-up - no way Jose

    The box is only used for getting to the rings - you as an athlete must grab it and put it back (they are placed right beside the rings). The box is designed to get those not tall enough to get to the rings without jumping and then re-grab if they are swinging around. Once off the box you must full hang at extension before beginning and reach full extension between each rep.
